Orange Cassidy is set to defend his AEW International title at the AEW Battle of The Belts VIII event. His opponent will be determined on October 20 episode of AEW Rampage, where Brother Zay, John Silver, and Kip Sabian will compete in a #1 contender match. Orange Cassidy won the AEW International title on October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite by defeating Rey Fenix. The upcoming match at AEW Battle of the Belts VIII will mark Cassidy’s first title defense in his second reign. His first reign ended at All Out 2023 PPV.
